Write your way to Oz!
Create an original story based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and the other Oz books by America’s foremost author of fairy tales, L. Frank Baum.

- Contest open to all students, grades 4–12, residing in California.
- Submission must be accompanied by the Entry form and Permission form. (Find entry forms and rules at www.arnenixoncenter.org, call us at 559.278.8116, or visit your nearest Fresno County Public Library branch)

Division A 4th – 7th grade (500 words)
Division B: 8th – 12th grade (1500 words)
Awards for each Division:
- 1st Place: $150
- 2nd Place: $100
- 3rd Place: $50
All winners will receive ten copies of their stories, embellished with illustrations provided by art students at Fresno State. Winners will be honored at the “Oz: The Books” conference on Sunday morning, May 16th, at Fresno State. Their families will also be invited as special guests.
